Emotional Healing Process
Emotional healing is a journey that involves accepting and processing your emotions, learning to let go of negative thoughts and patterns, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. It is not a linear process, and there will be setbacks and challenges along the way. However, with time and effort, emotional healing can be achieved.
I thought I had done a pretty good job of being self-aware, but I was in for a rude awakening. After a terrible car accident, laying on the ground, I heard a message. That message was:
Your work is not done.
In fact, my healing process was only just beginning. I would go on to have extensive plastic surgery, facing battles both seen and unseen. This is truly where I became a warrior woman and began my journey toward Living in Alignment.
What Does Emotional Healing Look Like?
Emotional healing is a journey that involves accepting and processing your emotions, learning to let go of negative thoughts and patterns, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. It is not a linear process, and there will be setbacks and challenges along the way. However, with time and effort, emotional healing can be achieved.
For me, my emotional healing went hand in hand with my physical healing. After the accident, I was left unable to move. I was fortunate to find a class that paired music and dance with mind work, forgiveness work, and your overall healing process. I knew that I needed to take what I was learning and share it with others who are fighting unseen battles.
At the beginning of your emotional healing journey, you may feel overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. It’s okay to take baby steps and start with small changes. You might start by journaling, speaking to a therapist, or practicing mindfulness. As you progress, you will notice that you are becoming more in tune with your emotions and are better equipped to manage them.

Signs That You Are Mastering Your Healing Process
As you continue on your journey toward emotional healing and Living in Alignment, you may start to notice positive changes in your life. Here are some signs that you are mastering your healing process:

You have started to identify patterns and triggers that cause negative emotions, and you are more aware of your thoughts and feelings. You have also learned to express your emotions in a healthy way and set boundaries when needed.
- You Are More Resilient
You are better equipped to handle setbacks and challenges that come your way. You understand that healing is not a linear process and are kind to yourself when you experience setbacks.
- You Are Living a More Fulfilling Life
You have learned to let go of negative thoughts and patterns, and you are living a life that aligns with your values and goals. You are more present in the moment and are able to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Emotional healing is a journey that takes time and effort, but it is worth it. Remember to be kind to yourself and take baby steps. Celebrate the small victories along the way, and know that setbacks are a normal part of the process. Keep going, and soon you will notice positive changes in your life.
